Fake Porters
A man in a uniform (or sometimes no uniform) grabs your luggage and insists on carrying it to a taxi or your gate. At the end, he demands $20–$50 for the 'service'. In some airports, he may take your luggage to an unofficial taxi. This is common in airports across Africa, South Asia, and parts of Latin America.
💸 Typical amount lost: $10–$50
