Pickpocketing

Bicycle Rental Scams
Unlicensed rental shops charge hidden fees, demand excessive deposits, or claim damage to bikes to keep deposits.
Use established rental companies. Take photos of bike before renting. Get receipt with all terms.
Drug Dealing Scams
Street dealers sell fake drugs or oregano to tourists. Buying drugs on the street is illegal and dangerous.
Never buy drugs from street dealers. Only visit licensed coffee shops if interested.
Taxi Overcharging
Unlicensed taxis charge inflated fares. Some drivers take long routes or refuse to use meters.
